自结皮的全称是自结皮泡沫体（Integral Skin Foam）——一般它用于制备汽车方向盘、扶手、头枕等软化性内功能件和内部饰件。

自结皮泡沫制品通常采用反应注射模塑成型（Reaction Injection Moulding，简称RIM）加工技术。

自成皮泡沫的特点：

软质自结皮PU泡沫塑料制品应用于：

1、汽车工业：汽车方向盘、扶手、摩托车坐垫、门把、阻流板、保险杠、扶手垫、汽车头部靠垫、变速杆、挡泥板、阴流板、仪表板、空气滤清器、

             自行车坐垫、拖拉机，越野车坐垫、反应注射成型制品等；

2、运动器材：健身器材坐垫、靠背、跪垫、握把、脚踏板、自行车鞍座、运动护膝等；

3、医疗器械：牙科一体成型座椅、手术桌台面封边、挂物架、轮椅扶手等；

4、家居用品：扶手垫、椅子腿、装饰用品；

5、其他用途：玩具、包装、制鞋工业做各种皮鞋、鞋套、矿山鞋、马靴等。

PU发泡板就是利用聚氨酯化学物质来制作的塑胶，其实pu发泡板就是塑胶板只是化学物质是聚氨酯，要制造聚胺酯，需要有两类至少两种功能的物质作为反应剂：含有异氰酸酯官能团的化合物，和含有活性氢原子的化合物。这些化合物的物理化学特性、结构和分子大小会对聚合反应、易加工性及异氰酸酯，而生产异氰酸酯的主要工艺是胺与光气反应。原材料胺是由相应的硝化物加氢生成，如甲苯二胺 (TDA) 是由二硝基甲苯生成，然后转化为甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI). 二氨基二苯基甲烷或苯基甲烷是由硝基苯生成苯胺，然后转化为二苯基甲烷（MDI)，两种最重要的芳香族异氰酸酯是：甲苯二异氰酸酯（TDI)和二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯（MDI），TDI 包括 2，4-甲苯二异氰酸酯和2，6甲苯二异氰酸酯两种异构体，最重要的品种是 TDI-80 (TD-80),含有80% 的2,4-异构体和20%的2,6-异构体. 这种混合物大量用于制造聚氨酯软质块状泡沫塑料和模成型泡沫塑料，TDI,特别是粗制的TDI 和TDI/MDI混合物可以用于硬质泡沫制品，但慢慢被聚合的MDI取代,TDI-聚醚 和 TDI-聚酯 预聚物被用于高性能涂料及弹性体,预聚物在使用是需用真空抽走TDI单体，二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI) 有三种异构体, 4,4&＃39;-MDI, 2,4&＃39;-MDI, 和2,2&＃39;-MDI,也可以通过聚合实现甚至增强第三种异构体的功能酯加工后的物理特性产生影响，耐磨耐寒
